Having recently finished their terms as joint managers of Connacht Rugby junior's after a combined 14 years at the job, Seàn Higgins and Declan Slattery were both recognised for their services by Connacht rugby at a ceremony prior to the Connacht v Leinster URC tie tonight at the Sportsgrounds.

Declan in his absence was represented by Sean's wife Toni. Connacht President Michael O'Hehir and chairman of the Connacht club and Community Rugby Committee, Paul Casserly thanked both Seàn and Declan for their services to the Connacht Junior team.
