Tuam Tigers Mini rugby caters for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 12 years. Training takes place every Friday evening at Garraun Park from 6:30pm to 7:30pm from the month of September to April.
A fun way of learning the basics of rugby, Tuam Tigers Mini rugby has grown from strength to strength in recent years with a surge in numbers. Almost 120 children are now registered with Tuam Tigers Mini rugby.
As well as training sessions, there are a number of blitzes, both home and away, throughout the season. On top of this, there are frequent trips to the Sportsgrounds which is always a memorable experience for the children.
The success of Tuam's Mini rugby academy is down to it's team of organisers, coaches, parents and of course the children themselves.
